Canon invest significant amounts of time and money in trying to better understand how customers use their large format printers in the real world, and how we can minimise user intervention and make the printing process easy from start to finish.

Take the print catch-basket for example! The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO Series printers come as standard with a clever and highly versatile stacking catch-basket. When needed, it can be easily moved into a flat position directly in line with the print output to allow the prints be moved straight onto a finishing platform or viewing table. Smaller prints can even be safely stacked for easy handling.

For the more delicate types of media, and quality critical applications such as fine art printing, the basket can be set at an angle to prevent damaging the printed output as it emerges from the machine.

When not in use, the basket can be stowed completely out of the way underneath the printer itself, even with a 2nd roll/take-up unit fitted.
